Iberian Ham & Wine Excursion from Seville to the Sierra de Huelva
A full-day excursion out of Seville into the Sierra de Huelva — the oak pastures of Jabugo and the town of Aracena — to taste jamón ibérico de bellota, paired with wine, where it is actually made. Organized by SensaConcierge in collaboration with Altai Turismo, with private transport included.

This is not a tasting in Seville: it is a full day out of the city, north into the province of Huelva. You travel by private transport to the Sierra de Huelva, walk the dehesa where the black Iberian pigs range free among the oaks, visit the curing cellars, and taste acorn-fed jamón ibérico at the source, paired with wine — with a visit to the Gruta de las Maravillas, the spectacular cave under the town of Aracena.
The day is organized by SensaConcierge in collaboration with Altai Turismo, and it is the only experience we offer where transport is included. There are three versions, all full-day and priced per private group: the 5Jotas excursion in Jabugo; the same excursion followed by a guided walking tour of Seville when you get back; and the ham tasting excursion at the family-run Eiriz farm. Only the version that says “+ Seville City Tour” includes the walking tour in the city.
What's included
- Round-trip private transport from Seville — the only Altai experience where transport is included
- A guided visit at the source: the 5Jotas cellars in Jabugo, or the family-run Eiriz farm
- A tasting of acorn-fed jamón ibérico, paired with wine, where the ham is cured
- How ibérico de bellota is raised, cured, graded and cut
- A visit to the Gruta de las Maravillas in Aracena
- A guided walking tour of Seville afterwards — only on the “5Jotas + Seville City Tour” option
On the excursion
Jabugo & the 5Jotas cellars
The most famous name in acorn-fed ibérico, in the village that gave the ham its reputation.
Ham and wine, paired
The ibérico is tasted paired with wine, at the place where the ham is cured.
The Eiriz family farm
The alternative version of the day: a small, family-run producer in the same sierra.
Gruta de las Maravillas
The cave beneath Aracena — one of the finest in Spain, and part of the day.
