Every Altai Turismo tour in Córdoba is private and priced per group, led by an official licensed guide — the credential legally required to guide anywhere in the city and inside the Mosque-Cathedral (La Mezquita, as everyone here calls it). We arrange fast-track entrance tickets in advance and confirm your meeting point when you book.

Your walk moves from the forest of red-and-white arches inside the UNESCO Mosque-Cathedral through the flower-filled lanes of the Judería and one of Spain's only three surviving medieval synagogues, out to the views from the Roman Bridge. Your guide brings the layered Roman, Islamic and Christian story to life rather than just naming dates.

A typical route, stop by stop

Frequently asked questions

Do you organize day trips from Seville to Córdoba?
No — we don't organize day trips or transport, but we're happy to advise you. Most travelers reach Córdoba by AVE high-speed train (about 45 minutes from Seville) or by car (about 90 minutes); once you're there, your licensed guide gives you a private tour of the city itself.
How do I get from Seville to Córdoba?
The AVE high-speed train takes about 45 minutes and driving takes about 90 minutes. We don't sell transport, but we gladly advise on the best option when you book your private tour.
Do I need a guide to enter the Mosque-Cathedral?
You can visit on your own, but guiding any tour in Córdoba — from its streets to inside the Mosque-Cathedral — legally requires the official tourist-guide license. Every Altai Turismo guide holds it — and Altai Turismo is a registered official guide service (Andalusian Tourism Registry AIAT/SE/00126-6) — so you get expert commentary where self-guided visitors cannot.
How long are the Córdoba tours?
The Mosque-Cathedral tour and the short Jewish Quarter route each take about 90 minutes; the Jewish Quarter with the Casa de Sefarad museum runs 2 hours, and the full combination with the Mosque-Cathedral, the Judería and the Alcázar is around 3 hours.
Is the Córdoba tour manageable at a relaxed pace?
Yes — the tour is private and flexible. Distances between the Mosque-Cathedral, the Judería and the Alcázar are short, and we build in breaks for coffee and shade. We walk at whatever pace suits your group.
